Johannes Bastian, Motion- and Graphics Design Artist based in Hamburg, Germany..

Born in Hamburg and grown up in Hannover my creative output ranges from conceptional art (styleframes, storyboarding) to production of 2D and 3D graphical and animation content by using Cinema 4D + Redshift/Octane and Adobe Creative Suite.

Since childhood I always loved creating images by using pencils, charcoal or in later days graffiti.

But altogether, my passion is the digital world and its never ending tube of new impressions, experiments and technical innovations, to generate more and more creative output. 

In 2009 I got my bachelors degree by my dissertation about information based motion design in media informatics at university of applied sciences, Hochschule Harz in Wernigerode, Germany.

My first professional experiences I gained at Hamburg based production company Optix Digital.

After almost five amazing years at Kochstrasse - Agentur fuer Marken I made the decision to go hundred miles north back to my place of birth Hamburg where I worked for Brand New Media 

in the section of broadcast design for big brands and tv shows as. 

Later on I worked at Goldfuchs Studio designing, animating and rendering stuff for different areas like explainer films, ads and online.

After 6 beautiful years in Hamburg I packed my bags and left Germany. Vienna calling! Now I am working at ORF - Austrian Broadcasting Company designing content for several big TV shows, films, series etc.

ARD, ZDF, ORF, NDR, Sat.1, Brainpool, Sennheiser, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge, Johnson Controls / VARTA, ExxonMobil, Continental, Bahlsen, Media Markt, FocusTV Reportage, Hamburg1, Optibelt, IdeenExpo, Tetra and others.
